Science Department Supplies and lab equipment for Physics, Chemistry, Living Earth and Physiology

Physical Education Storage carts for P.E. equipment, vertical jump tester and heart rate monitors

Social Studies Department New classroom furniture to facilitate group work and collaboration, support texts for A.P. World History 

Math Department  Geometry tool kits to ensure that every Geometry student has access to essential supplies while at home as well as in the classroom 

English Department Guest performers/presenters from California Poets and Marin Shakespeare for in-class enrichment, professional development (Bay Area Writing Project and Mud & Ink Teaching) geared toward refining reading and writing instruction

World Language/ELD Guest artists, dance/Samba performers and teachers of Spanish and Latin American heritage to bring real world connections into the classroom

The Redwood Bark/Journalism Field trip scholarships and iPad, mini microphones to create videos featuring sports teams and students

SLAM (Student Leader Anti Racist Movement) Class supplies and guest speakers 

AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) Program support including community building, celebrations, visits to local universities, and academic materials

ELD (English Language Development) Program Support for the English Language Learner (ELL) Success program to help build connections among ELL students and the general Redwood community and to provide basic needs, support and enriching experiences for ELL students

Applied Technology Drafting table covers for the Architecture studio, new laptop storage/charging station, essential materials and supplies required for student projects

Engineering Projects Saw stop table saw, new sandblaster

Arts

Drama Department Program support including guest artists and directors, professional theatre tickets for students, new dance floor for Dance, which is returning to RHS after a five year hiatus

Music Department program support including guest teachers and performers; vibraphone replacement

Visual Arts  Guest artists, new professional scanners, MacBook Pro laptops, iPads, ProCreate software, security/charging carts, furniture replacement, display materials for the Celebration of the Arts Exhibit and additional supplies/equipment including ceramics materials, digital cameras and sustainable paint

Athletics

Benchwarmers Funds to support the needs of ALL Freshman, JV and Varsity teams including essential equipment, uniforms, tournament fees and more

Softball Field Beautification Funds to upgrade the batting cage and visitors bullpen

Student/Teacher Support

Peer Resource Active Listening Coach

Library After-school Library Aid, additional color printer for student use

Campus Improvement Indoor benches for student seating in the hallway alcoves

Clubs Mock Trial competition fees, Model UN conference support, Diversity Plus operational support including guest speakers and field trips

College & Career Center College application fees for students in financial need

The Wellness Center Program support and supplies including funding for part-time interns

Assessment Center Teacher stipends to provide additional adult-supervised time and space for students needing testing or assignment accommodations before and after school

Leadership Redwood Pride banners for the back parking lot poles, buses for student transportation to prom, senior yard signs and décor for neighboring businesses to celebrate and acknowledge the class of 2023 

Staff Appreciation Funds to provide staff with refreshments at staff meetings and gatherings throughout the school year as well as Redwood gear to encourage connection and community

Field Trips Funds to provide busing/transportation and entrance fees for class field trips
