At yesterday’s staff meeting, the Foundation, al At yesterday’s staff meeting, the Foundation, along with student representatives, presented Redwood English and Academic Workshop teacher, Kathryn Ghiraldini, with the Foundation’s Second Annual North Star Award! The North Star Award committee is comprised of students, parents and administrators who evaluate teacher nominees based on the following criteria: � 1. Fosters a supportive, respectful, and safe environment for all students and goes out of their way to support students both in and outside the classroom. 2. Recognizes and honors students' individual needs and learning styles 3. Adapts lesson plans to stay culturally relevant and reflect current issues A GIANT congratulations to Kathryn Ghiraldini!
